Looking for the Day

We are all together
Living day by day
Thinking life this way is better
We have no good words to say

We act as if were happy
Saying everything is fine
Maybe no one will know
In one way we’re all alone

Telling ourselves, this is all a dream
Waiting to wake up from it all
Waiting to wake up in a scream
Knowing what’s on the other side of the wall

We don’t want to say
Where we go next
Will wait for another day
Saying it will be all over

We will always get by
Not the way we want to
A way to make life better
A way to see skies blue.
