Relationship Poems, and the Unknown Reality.
Why I wrote these relationship poems
Did you ever have a night out and you meet someone you feel is special? You can’t wait to see this person again, find out everything about them, and just spend more time with them. I met someone at a bar and I didn’t know if I would ever see this person again.
When we met there was an attraction between us. We talked most of the night getting to know each other. We had a great time.
The time went by fast and we said we would meet each other the following weekend. That night we where taking it slow, not rushing anything. Afterwords I felt I’d never see her again.
I felt it was all a “Question of Time” the first poem I wrote.
This was a Friday night happy hour my buddy and I went to. We went every Friday. He started dating one of her girlfriends and she started meeting us at the bar.
The next couple of weekends I did not see her. She said she would see me again at happy hour some night. Kept thinking she was busy and I would see her another night.
I asked her friend where she was a couple of times, she said, I have not heard from her. I felt it was time to meet someone else, while I looked back at the laughs we had.
Looking around the bar and seeing the other girls, I kept thinking about her and how she disappeared. It was like she wanted to see me again, but couldn’t.
So I decided the next time this happens to me…if it does, is to find out more about a person before I get my hopes up. This way I’ll know if this will be real.
Which brought me to write two other poems,
“Feelings of Forgiveness”
"The Lost Sun"
