The Days Pass
The days pass is a secret love poems. This is about a girl that entered my life. I should of told her how I felt. At the time, i didn't feel this was a good idea. I just started a new job, was there only a couple of days. Then one day she walked into the break room, wow, that’ all that went through my mind. The first two weeks I worked days training, she also worked days. After my training I would work second shift. Everyday I always made sure I said hi to her, I was always friendly with her. I didn’t know her that well, the little I did know; she was a very nice person. Well time went on, I was working second shift. Our shifts overlapped a couple of hours, which gave me time to get to know her. We got along great. Every time I saw her I wanted to ask her out. She was the kind of person you could feel good about. Someone you would want to be part of your life. This inspired me to write a poem, a poem of love. Showing her this would say everything. Her knowing could change our lives. More time went by, my feelings never changed and we still worked at the same place. I think that working together stopped me, at the same time, I wasn’t sure. One day I found out she was seeing someone. Not long after that they broke up. I met him and I saw the loneliness in his eyes. I could understand exactly how he felt.
At one point and time in his life he was probably at the top of his world. I felt I knew what he was feeling then and I wanted to be there.
